Johanes Roselló was born in Puerto Rico, her home until 2007 when she moved to Georgia after an educational and professional opportunity. With a bachelor's degree in social work from the University of Puerto Rico and a master's degree in journalism from the Universidad del Sagrado Corazón, Johanes practiced the journalistic profession with a social and community focus, very close to the Latino community in places such as MundoHispánico, Telemundo Atlanta and CNN en Español. Her relationship with Ser Familia arose more than a decade ago when in a news coverage she learned about its services and its mission with which she felt very connected. What she likes and inspires her most about working at Ser Familia is seeing Latino families receiving hope, becoming stronger, and evolving into that hand that lifts up others in their community.
