S er Familia offers a variety of programs that help Latino families develop stronger bonds and nurture their potential. The purpose of our programs is to have Latino children, youth and adults thrive and become constructive members of their communities.

Board Members

  • Strategic Sourcing professional with 23 years of experience for corporations such as Procter and Gamble, currently works at the Clorox Company in the product supply organization.
  • Tony is a seasoned energy industry leader and MBA with engineering, project management, and consulting experience in a variety of areas. He currently is a Manager at ScottMadden, Inc. and advises energy industry clients across the country.

  • Board Certified Pediatrician. Faculty member in two medical schools; 2013 Physician of the year by the Georgia Chapter American Academy of Pediatrics and Representative, Member of the Advisory Board Georgia Office of Child Advocate.

  • Jennifer is a marketing and communication professional, and an EMMY® award winning journalist. She currently holds a Consumer Marketing position at Cobb EMC.
  • Global Supply Chain professional for a variety of fortune 500 companies. Co-owner of the Red Hare Brewing.
  • President of the Latin American Chamber of Commerce of Georgia. Formerly in charge of the Trade Commission of Mexico - Bancomex office in Atlanta, responsible for the promotion of Mexican exports to the southeast and the promotion of foreign investment in Mexico.
  • A native of Ponce, Puerto Rico, Marta is the first Latina and first woman managing two regions and two different business units for Georgia Power. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Humanities from the University of Puerto Rico. Marta lives in Acworth with her husband and children.
  • Miles is a lifetime resident of the Atlanta area. He graduated from Kennesaw State University in 1988 with a BS in Public and Social Services. Miles is married to Monica Alvarez Crowe and they have two awesome children.
