This new space symbolizes the vibrant presence of the Hispanic community in Cobb County and will serve as a welcoming home for Latino families in our area. We are excited to embark on this new chapter and continue our mission of supporting and empowering our community.

Maranie Brown, the Vice President of Data Platforms & Solutions at BlackRock, spearheads the company’s groundbreaking ESG data program. Her exceptional talents have garnered her recognition as a “Rising Star” within the digital community. Maranie’s accolades include being named among the “Top 20 Under 40” by Marietta Daily Journal/Cobb Life Magazine and being esteemed as a “Woman to Watch” in STEAM by Women in Technology. Her leadership is a beacon of inspiration!
Andrew D. Winkelmann, serving as the EVP of Product Development & Region One Sales at Diaz Foods, embodies a steadfast dedication to uplifting the Hispanic/Latino community. Through his active involvement with numerous non-profits at the highest echelons, Andrew has demonstrated his commitment to making a tangible difference. His impactful leadership and unwavering advocacy have rightfully positioned him as one of the “50 Most Influential Latinos in Georgia 2023”.
Belisa Urbina has been honored being selected as one of Atlanta Magazine Atlanta’s 500. Her unwavering dedication and tireless efforts have left an indelible mark on our community, inspiring positive change and progress. Read Belisa’s part on page 134 2024 Atlanta 500 Edition. The Atlanta 500 is an annual list compiled by Atlanta Magazine, featuring 500 influential individuals across various sectors in the Atlanta metropolitan area. YMHFA training that will be taking place at the Latin American Association on April 11th y 17th from 6pm-8:30pm. The training has been split into two days to allow for more flexibility.
There will also be a Spanish virtual training through zoom on May 14th y 21st from 6pm-8:30pm.
