GLADV

Georgia Latin@s Against Domestic Violence

Welcome

Georgia Latin@s Against Domestic Violence strives to bridge the gap between community service providers and victims of domestic violence in the Georgia Latin@ community by providing the education and resources necessary to raise awareness and promote advocacy against domestic violence in the Georgia Latino community.

History

The Georgia Latin@s Against Domestic Violence was founded by Michelle Toledo-Cainas as a task force to unite and support advocates and agencies who dealt with domestic violence within their work in the Latino Community. The task force became a program of Ser Familia in 2012 as one of their educational programs. Today GLADV continues to educate and bring awareness to the community overall, offer advocates a place to network and share information, and support domestic violence survivors.
